About this tool
The text splitter cuts a large file into smaller pieces:
- By line count: set how many lines each output file holds
- By size: cap each file at a size in KB or MB
- By delimiter: split wherever a marker such as a blank line appears
- Naming rules: choose the output prefix and the number format
