About this tool
The text cleaner removes the stray characters that pile up in copied and exported text, with eight cleanup modes in one place:
- Trim edges: remove spaces at the start and end of every line
- Remove all spaces: strip every space in the text
- Drop blank lines: delete all empty lines
- Collapse blank lines: turn runs of empty lines into one
- Remove line breaks: join multiple lines into one
- Strip HTML tags: remove markup from the text
- Remove tabs: delete tab characters
- Full-width to half-width: turn full-width spaces into ordinary ones
