Random Password Generator

The random password generator creates strong passwords that resist brute force. A password manager plus strong passwords is the practical baseline for account security:

• Custom length: choose 4 to 128 characters, with at least 12 recommended
• Character sets: mix uppercase, lowercase, digits and symbols
• Batch output: generate 1 to 100 passwords at once when creating many accounts
• Strength estimate: live weak, medium or strong rating based on length and character variety
• Skip look-alikes: exclude characters such as 0, O, 1 and l that are easy to mistype

Password advice

• Use at least 12 characters with upper and lower case, digits and symbols
• Use a different password per site so one leak does not expose everything
• Store them in a password manager such as 1Password or Bitwarden
• Turn on two-factor authentication where available

Passwords are generated locally in the browser and never pass through a server.
